Still crazy to me that I can spec this car with red leather but can't on my M340i.

When people complain about these cars, I assume they haven't driven the smaller BMW's. The last 1er hatch made such poor use of space that it was a terrible rental when I had one. My GTI is smaller outside with hugely more functional space inside. Sure the M140i was fun, but it wasn't practical. |

- is not original - looks plain (see Kia, Ford, etc) - is FWD - Haldex instead of true xDrive Conclusion? Rather buy a more original, better Audi KEEP IT BMW! Slowly you are digging your grave... |

Correct. Features an LSD in the front, like the M135i and the X2 M35i as well.

Why won't BMW separate the grills like they had before? so when you look at it from far you can recognize it's a BMW, not confusing with a Kia. Also the new 4series m3/4 grill people will start confusing with the Audi from a distance, especially if you are not familiar with the headlights. BMW is going down the hill and really fast. They used to make cars that stood out from the crowd, now it looks the same crap as the economy cars that are half the price.

The A3 (especially with the S Line package) looks really nice imo. Probably the nicest out the current German 3 small FWD based vehicles. It's also the oldest platform but definitely doesn't look it (on the exterior anyways).

I'm probably in the minority here. But I cross-shopped the m235 GC, the a3/s3,(and the bigger 330i.) Eliminating the Audi was the easy choice for me.
Then again, it's hard not to choose the Golf R over the m235 GC or the audi |

Why was it easy to eliminate the S3 but the Golf R is your top choice? They're basically the same car (cost aside).

Problem with the A3 is that it's incredibly boring to drive and has an equally boring interior. This excuse for a Bimmer will have it beat in those areas.

So in this case, I'd still rather have a Golf R than the S3, and new m235i GC. I have an F22, so got the RWD fun covered already

The rear looks fine, every other view looks like a cheap econobox car from Japan or Korea.
