F30 320i in town poor consumption figures

All,

My 2105 plate F30 320i bought 2 weeks ago only seems to do 26 MPG in town (comfort mode) and on motor way I think only 35 MPG..these figures don't look impressive, being a BMW driver I am not expecting great consumption on a petrol automatic 320i, but these still look poor to me. Is this the same experience with other F30 320i 4D Step Auto owners? just wanted to check?

Please suggest. Thanks.

Would have thought they'd all be EV by then.
