Removal of Inlet Cover on F44
Has anyone removed this inlet cover on a F44? I just purchased this and a body shop believes you have to remove the entire bumper. He wasn't 100% sure though. It looks like it clips to the front and you could remove it without removing the bumper. If anyone has any video links please attach them or link. Thank you!
I'm knew here and a bit older then most, i'm sure. I didn't know how to post a picture. It looks like i need to use a 3rd party to download my images too so I have a URL. The Part number is 51-11-9-463-087 |

I can offer a link to a drawing that shows which part...
https://www.bmwpartsdirect.com/oem-p...VkIFByb2R1Y3Rz ...not apparent how it fits or how it attaches, could simply be press fit. It is not painted...are you replacing a damaged part?...gotta get it painted to match. |

Thanks, that drawing is how I got the part name and number. I have to remove mine since it's scuffed and one of the tabs is not in correctly. So I'm trying to see if anyone removed them before so I know how to.
