RaceChip harness question
Hi!
I just got my RaceChip delivered and I'm wondering if they mixed up my wiring harness. The harness number is DM-B 7440 but if this is the correct harness for B48 engine I think they mixed up the labels - "A" plug (that's supposed to go to boost pressure sensor) is 3 pin (plug on car is 4 pin), "B" plug (manifold pressure) is 4 pin (pug on car is 3 pin). Can any one with a race chip check their harness model number (it's on the plug that goes into the chip) and tell me if the number is correct? I emailed their support, but since it's the weekend they probably will respond some time next week, just looking for a second source of info |

Ok, so support got back to me and apparently I'm supposed to plug them in the way they fit (A to MAP, B to boost pressure) . Well, whatever, I guess they know what they're talking about

Im keen to know if you experience any improvement.
I had a race-chip on my previous Lexus Rc200t, and I could not tell the difference. I thought I saw the boost gauge push a little higher, but couldn't replicate that when I filmed a couple of hard pulls... |

From my experience so far I think the car accelerates more eagerly, especially above 100kph, but that's only from my butt-dyno.
I plan to visit an actual dyno, but right now life gets a bit in the way... I'll update this thread once I have actual numbers. |
