Since i got bimmercode i have looked everywhere on how to change the ambient color on my 2 Series GranCoupe.

On bimmercode you can change the bronze to a few colors in basic mode. But i wanted to add a few more.

i loooked up some guides online but they are for g20 models. So i went into expert mode and found all the bytes myself and would like to share my findings


Guide

Connect to bimmercode

Click on BDC
Expert mode
Search for LIC_LCI_COLOR_LIBRARY_DATA
Search for LIC_LCI_COLOR_PROFILES_DATA
Go to Custom values at the Bottom

Now you will need to change the bytes using RGB hex codes (just use googles hex code)

Once you have your 6 digit hex code go to the bytes below and change the value

White
Door cards
Byte 3
Byte 4
Byte 5
Roof light
Byte 8
Byte 9
Byte 10

Bronze
Door cards
Byte 13
Byte 14
Byte 15
Roof lights
Byte 18
Byte 19
Byte 20

Orange
Door cards
Byte 23
Byte 24
Byte 25
Roof lights
Byte 28
Byte 29
Byte 30

Blue
Door cards
Bytes 34
Bytes 35
Bytes 36
Roof lights
Byte 39
Byte 40
Byte 41

Green
Door cards
Byte 43
Byte 44
Byte 45

Once done code it. You can have two different colors for the door card and roof lights
