Guess The Part And Win A Prize

Bought a 2008 335XI and I found some kind of molding in the trunk. I looked inside the trunk and couldn't find any place that it might have come from... anyone recognize it? Part # is 7 118 502-04 and it has a "R" above the part #. I tried doing a search for the part and nothing came up. The piece is about 13" long and 2" wide. The prize is my undying gratitude... yeah I know, very cheesy. Thanks in advance!

My guess would be that it is a part of the right seat rail trim that goes on the bottom of the seat - see link below for picture (you will see it on the seat rail assembly I believe)

Its the seat rail trim. Clips onto the seat rail look at the other seat for reference.

Ah the largely useless and flimsy seat rail trim.

Sometimes I think BMW just put it in their cars to justify the extra cost, and confuse the shit out of the owners once they inevitably disengage from their original homes.
