E93 330d 2008 Crankcase breather filter request

Hi folks,

I would like to change my crankcase breather on e93 330d as i got some small leakage on inlet manifold and i know there is a bmw puma on putting old model with filter not vortex one to avoid leakage.
Part number: 11127793163
I just bought it but need and advice, for those of you who already change it could you please tell me if the separator filter stay blocked once you install it with the gasket under it ot it should turn around to catch oil vapors ? It seems to me a bit strange that mine doesn't move once it's fitted in the housing of the breather.

Thx a lot for your help
Regards

Most of us are USA/CA and have never seen a 330d. Most prefer to use an oil catch-can instead of a filter.

you might have better luck in the UK portion of the forum. The diesels we got only have the vortex separator and it doesnt seem to have been much of an issue yet on our models.
