Yes, yes I know but I stumbled across the semi finals or whatever on BBC 4 whilst looking for a documentary on engines and stuff.

Gone are the days where it was mildly good entertainment. Even just watching it for 5 mins makes me conclude we should not only leave the EU but also float the UK out to the Atlantic and anchor a few miles off the coast of Cape Verde!

I wonder how many votes the UK will get now that we have decided to leave the party?

Luckily they have managed to get Australia on track to replace us in Eurovision

Load of bollocks I'd imagine our "act" will likely be pelted with rancid tomatoes this year as well as getting no points.

The only plus point is Graham Norton taking the piss out of it which is quite amusing.

I think next years Eurovision Song Contest should be held in Pyongyang.

Unfortunately Eurovision is nothing to do with the EU, so I expect our participation will continue.

I'm hoping so. Eurovision nowadays is based on former Eastern Bloc countries demonstrating how 'European' they now are and the score is inversely proportional to how useful and civilised you actually are.
