BMW X5 M Comp Frozen Matte Paint Care
Hey Everyone,
I just ordered a 2024 X5 M Comp with BMW Individual Frozen Deep Grey paint. I've seen on here that everyone seems to recommend Dr. Beasley's for Matte paint care. How does this compare to using the BMW products sold on the BMW website? Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated. |

If you plan on doing anything less than this... well. It's not gonna last and it's going to look like hell in about 3-9 months depending on how bad the roads are.

Assuming the car is full PPF'd, does it even require any special care at that point? The matte paint is completely covered, so I'd think any wash product and technique you prefer would be fine. If it's not full PPF'd, then I agree that it's going to be a handful if you drive it as a daily.
One of my coworkers has a frozen Mini as a daily (same paint process as on the X5, essentially), and it never looks "right" - just always looks unwashed. Another coworker has a frozen Merc AMG GT that gets driven occasionally and has PPF. It looks pretty nice, but I doubt it's ever been wet except to be washed. |

Any frozen color you NEED to get full PPF. Almost defeats the purpose cause you can just get any regular color them wrap it with matte PPF. With matte paint ANY flaw can not be polished out because it will turn it glossy. Basically the way it comes the factory is the way it will be. You can't mess with it at all and I heard its really hard to paint match if you have any damage.

that’s good for consistency, but not really an issue if some areas still have glossy paint showing
I got my Arctic Grey fully wrapped in stealth ppf. other than the door jambs (obviously), there are two 1x5” areas in the corners where the lower tailgate meets the top of the rear bumper that could not get covered with the wrap. so far, nobody has noticed unless I point them out, and they have to get close to see it |

Ours is wrapped with Suntek Ultra Matte ppf (same thing) except for the jams too. They did a bad ass job. Tanzanite Blue II.
Stealth jobs look good.
