2015 a year of change
It's funny how life can so easily become routine and repetitive and then without any real planning or expectation it all changes, just like that!!!
So this time a year ago my wife and I had just agreed the deal on our new (to us) house - a 17th century cottage in Liphook. There had been no saving or strategy. We just started looking at houses in October, discovered our old house had gone up more than expected and we moved into our new place in May! Since the move we've had the driveway done (to create a bit more parking), changed all three of our cars, my job has also seen two big promotions come my way - first to regional manager and just before Christmas I became technical manager for Northern Europe! I don't think there's anything left to change now! The last 12 months have been an absolute whirlwind and certainly an experience I don't expect to repeat for a while! If I'm honest I feel completely blown away by it all, I could never have imagined how much could change in a year and I think I'd have laughed at anyone that might have suggested it! So here's to 2016, hopefully a bit more stable and routine than the past year! (matching colour cars wasn't planned either )

Glad things have gone well for you and hope 2016 only improves on that Wait till you've had kids ( if not got already) Oh and you need to sort out your fence panels - mismatched look doesn't do it for me

Sounds like a great year!
I've had a similar one, with 4 jobs in the last 12 months (all in same company), in the middle of selling and buying houses, and dealing with both parents being ill... Stressful at times but also exhilarating! Haven't changed a car in over a year so will need to sort that out in 2016

Thanks guys. Yes the fence looks terrible I know! It was all different colours too before we painted it! Plans for next summer are a decent patio and a new fence for sure
We have kids, my youngest started at junior school in September and my step son drives the Ibiza (his second after the first one got written off at the beginning of December).
