First of all, kats, you're doing an awesome job trying to make this group buy happen. It's clear to all of us that you're doing all the work in getting this together. What I would like to know is if Steve even wants this to go through. You would think that if someone was trying to give you a ton of business, you would get a little bit more involved. There are plenty of us interested in this gb- including those that aren't posting questions- but we aren't receiving any answers from Steve. I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say that Steve needs to start paying more attention to this thread considering he's not having to do hardly anything and he's about to sell 20 $200+ splitters. I'm not trying to bash Steve or start any huge uproar, I just think we need more attention and more answers. Thanks again kats for all you've done.

Thanx guys, First off, I went to Steve with this idea because it looked like a lot of US wanted splitters but didn't want to pay a small fortune for the OEM ones.. Steve does want this group buy to happen so he asked me to handle the thread as far as questions..when i can't answer i PM him and he lets me know....All of the info. i forward to you guys comes right from him... He is watching the thread as he has posted a few answers for some. I'm thinking he's alittle busy with things at the shop,so he can't sit at the CP all day. I hope this clears things up a bit for everyone, because i really want this to happen just like everyone else... so if your in for the group buy.......PLEASE POST YOUR NAME ON THE LIST (IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO YET) SO STEVE CAN SEE ALL THAT ARE INTERESTED......THANX,GLEN

Woven plastic is not as flexible as the hybrid material but is not as stiff as fiberglass. So somewhere in between I guess

So Steve, do you think this sort of material can crack? I assume not as easy as the OEM ones, which I've heard crack if you blow on them. Has anyone seen these rep splitters in person yet?

Anything can crack if the impact is big enough. This material is not as easily cracked as the OEMs for sure.

There will not be a sample piece made until 20 orders are fullfilled. The only sample of the same material that I can show is of the OEM style rear decklid that we have. Everything that is sold through us are guaranteed to fit like OEM or better. If not satisfied we will refund you the full amount.
