Sports seats and wheel

Can you get the sport seats and wheel from the Sport Package without ordering the Sport Package?

Not on your car from the factory. These are easily change-able parts such that you could purchase the wheels and steering wheel separately after delivery of your car and have them replaced.

Of course this will probably be much more costly than just getting the Sport Package.

This is all for U.S. vehicles. In places other than the U.S. (not sure about Canada) you are able to pick individual components such as the sport suspension, steering, wheels, etc.

I belive you can order the sports seats seperately, and the sports STEERING WHEEL. They cost around R4000 for the pair. The sports wheels(as in 4 of them with runflats) are "exclusive" to the sports package in this country, so i'm not sure about that!

I think it must depend on where you are!
Here in the UK you certainly can - because I have!
The seats were £400 (~$800) and the sports steering wheel was only ~£75 (~$150).

USA works a bit different from here

And anyone can get the 18" "sport" wheels here from the parts department, you just cannot get it from the factory without the "sports pack"

Yeah, it kind of sucks that we can't get individual options in the US. In Germany you can order a 320i with 162's from the factory. In the States you have to take what is given with your paricular model. If you want 162 rims you'll have to buy them from the parts department at a hugely inflated price. I also think Americans want a huge differentiation between a 325 and the 330, so they don't allow 325 owners to get anything that is an option on the 330 (like 162 rims).

Nexus - do you know that BMW tried to charge me £270 (£100 of that for labour) to fit a sports steering wheel at the dealer!!??

All because my car arrived a month early and I couldnt add it on at the factory!

Scandalous!!!

That is ridiculous!! You gotta ask why your dealer got the delivery date sooooo wrong??

But I am jealous - mine is due at the dealer on the 21st!! I'm getting to that climbing the walls with anticipation stage!! You've at least got yours!

part of the reason why i got a 330 was for the 162's. figured it probably would've cost just as much as getting a 325 and getting 162's from the parts counter.
