Yawn. Other than the awful seats, the Bolt's worst feature was its exterior design, and it still is here now with a weirder face. The interior looks better, but its using the same old battery tech. With Tesla getting the $7k credits again, I don't see much reason to not get a Model 3.

However, given the hatchback form factor, the FWD drivetrain which in some regions will get more love than RWD, and the continued uncertainty about Tesla build quality, I think there's a place in the market for the Bolt EV (and others like it). We'll see if the price cut moves the needle at all in the sales race. GM has competition from Nissan and Hyundai/Kia to contend with too since they offer similar form factors. |

I believe you are right that its in the legislative process, but I expect it to go through with our current government. I believe GM would also regain the rebate.

True, and I'm aware, but I was specifically referring to the updated Bolt EV which also gets the weird face stein_325i referred to. The two do look very similar, but both are included in the set of pictures the OP posted.

FWD only. Big fail. Not going to sell any of them here in Canada. Same as the iX3. Don't think they even offer it here due to RWD only.
