Near enough 5000 miles later from my last post. Cars currently looking like this.

The grille, vents, wing mirrors and spoiler has now been wrapped gloss black to match side skirts and rear.
Along side this I have had the alloys painted black aswell keeping the diamond cut.

Cars been an absolute joy to drive, makes you feel a bit invincible until an M4 or RS3 pulls up beside you and nails you hahahaha

I have the M235i in Storm Bay. I'm not going to lie, I'm crushin on the M135i. Sadly, we are not getting them in North America.

Storm bay is a cracking colour. Initially what I chose when I ordered an M135i however then changed this to the M235i in Snapper Rocks!

To answer your question, the shadow pack isn’t available in the UK. Dealerships are a bit awkward about it as a lot of them don’t seem to be completely clued up on the car yet, however after a bit of picking about I managed to get specific parts and get them fitted. Photos below .

We are just about to look at ordering one of these in Storm Bay.

What parts are changed to black in this Shadow pack thats available in the US?

And does anyone know why it can't be ordered in the UK, and if this stance is likely to change in the UK?

My US spec with extended shadow line has
All black grill (surround and the small verticals in the diamonds)
Black front fangs
Black mirror caps
Black window trim
Black rear diffuser
Black chrome exhaust trim


Only cerium colored trim left is the badge.

I only got the gloss black grille and front canards fitted and it was about £400 including labour costs.

Nope, wing mirrors from Auto ID - see pic below.

Left the exhaust and spoiler standard as I am installing a Remus race system, and will change the spoiler once a bodykit is available.

That actually looks ok. Contemplating going with black grills only, and leaving the rest.

Currently in touch with MoTechPerformance and have the Black M style wing mirror covers on order to be moved onto the car. Waiting for them to be delivered so I can get them on ASAP.

Also looking into ordering the new Remus Exhaust system onto the car, currently torn between getting the chrome or black tips so we shall see which one I choose out of impulse (tends to be what happens with me) 😂

I personally don't like the M style wing mirror covers, I much prefer the standard ones in gloss black.

Also intrested in Remus exhaust and have been in touch with MoTech, they told me that it should be in stock soon.

I been thinking if I should change the exhaust tip for black since I picked up my car. When I look at it I do like it in Chrome as I makes the exhausts stand out more.
