BMW prefers you don't for sake of photographs and video. Be prepared for rock chips. Some guys even had their windshields cracked.

Those lucky canadians and their M2s. Saw them on the morning of May 19 and around Nurburgring area as well on June 1-2.

Character and memories! I got a tiny windshield chip at 185km/hr behind a GTS on the Nordschleife! So worth it

Just coordinate a clearbra install after delivery if chips are a concern for you, seen that done quite often on Rennlist.

I have heard reports that it's removed in prep after it returns to the states. Is that correct?

Good question, I don't know if they'd actually do such a thing on a full-coverage install. There is also this solution if you want something temporary.
