safety cameras

Picked up my 128ti tonight and activated the BMW app. Tried to activate the safety camera subscription but it says it is not available for my car. It’s running the latest version of ID 7. I don’t have HUD. Will it work without it? Google seems to think it will but I’m not sure google is the expert. Any experts on here?

I had that feature in my 70 plate G30. It never worked in the HUD it only ever worked on the instrument cluster honestly a waste of money your better using WAZE.
