(They also forgot woodgrain--delivered aluminum.  They are going to canabalize the woodgrain trim from a 325i and swap for me.)

Do you have small squares in front of your headlights? That's where they are. They pop-up. They aren't up permanently.

As far as I can tell, headlight washers are on the Xi only in Canada. Really, really stupid. Doesn't show up as an option to add on either.

True, therefore the 'Cold Weather Package' (actually not existent in Canada) only has the Xenon (non-adaptive for 325i, adaptive for 330i), the throughload with skibag and heated seats.

Don't be too concerned... I never found the headlight washers really do much more than spray fluid all over the hood of the car. Sure they will "spray" off some thick mud/snow/etc, but not really clean the salt residue off of the lights. At night I cant see a difference between a "dirty" set of lights and a "cleaned" set...

Are you talking about driving in the city? On the highway without much ambient light, the difference in visibility is huge between clean headlights and ones coated in roadspray. This has been my experience driving to/from Vancouver where I spend ~6 hours each way driving in the dark.

Headlight washers on my xi make a big diff when the going is filthy.

I also am keeping the damn washer people in business tho..it sprays every second time if the headlights are on.

Yea I'm taking about mostly driving in the city, so that it doesn't always make a difference. I should have added the disclamer "Your results my vary" to the end of the post.

One thing that would be nice is to have the ability to turn off the headlight washer. There are times where I now It's not really necessary. Since the washer fluid has alchol in it, it will strip the wax off of the hood of the car over time. I would rather only use it when I know I need them.

You can always turn off your headlights for a few seconds if you don't want the washers to come on

I do that in bumper to bumper traffic.

Speaking of washers - how many times does this happen to you? You have your car looking sweet - either at a stop or driving down the road minding your own business - some jack ass in a dirty as shit POS decides to clean 10 years of grime off his/her windshield while you're following behind. It's that much nicer if you're travelling at speed so they submerge your entire vehicle. I wonder if it's blatant stupidity (more than likely) or is it some envy/jealousy factor when they see some sparkling ride in their rear view mirror? Wait, I retract that last statement. I doubt if these people are bright enough to bother looking in their rear view mirrors.

LOL E24...I back off quick when I see some dork in his Minivan or PT cruiser starting to wash his windshield, especially at speed!!!

When I'm passing a car in shitty conditions, I'll pull way ahead so as not to mess his ride up, even it's a mule.

However, if some dude in a fancy ride is pissing me off hanging too close to my tail, out come the jets!!

We need rear washers with jets that we can aim aft and up - nail them in a low-tech James Bond style

my asshole friend did that to me the other day lol! I was cruising along behind him on the freeway in my perfectly clean car and he is about 25ft ahead of me in his e46 facelift coupe (which is filthy because he now likes his girlfriend more than his car...) he starts holding down the damn washer fluid thing and soaked me!
