It's unbelievable how Japan has 4 times the population of Canada and yet is 26 times smaller.

jesus. when you put on a screen like that it's kinda scary.

Funny thing is I was at work the other day and on our interoffice portal they always put the notice up of the guy or girl who just had a child that I work with. It seems like there is a notice every other day and our company only has maybe 200-300 employees. I came to the conclusion that people are fucking breeders especially in my office.

^Sure but have 1 maybe 2. Stop with this 3,4,5 kids. It's unnecessary.

For real...how much of all that land is even habitable, realistically?

Excluding Eskimos of course.

Its interesting to me that the graphic does not account for the effect plant life has on reducing CO2. Kind of biased IMO.

We were taught at school that a 320 Kms band of land along the U.S. border from coast to coast is truly habitable. The rest is permafrost and tundra-like climate. We were also tuaght that the southern tip of Ontario is at a latitude lower than the northern tip of California but I'm not sure if that is really true.
