Saw The Batman earlier today. It was a good movie. Very dark. I still don’t know how I feel about Pattinson as Batman. He’s not a bad actor, just don’t have the Bruce Wayne look IMO. The film went on longer than it needed to I think. At 2 hours 56 minutes, I feel like they could have trimmed 15-20 minutes off the movie. Towards the end I just wanted it to end as it went on for 2.5 hours already. It wasn’t boring or felt draggy, just grew a tiny bit long in the tooth towards the end. I highly recommend it though. Watching it in Dolby Digital was fantastic.

Unless the movie is highly entertaining I find it hard to sit more than 90 min and watch.

Yeah it was a bit of a commitment. I really liked the Christian Bale Batman movies. This one is like the Joker with Joaquin Phoenix: dark, uncomfortable (intentionally so), all about Batman and fighting crime, etc. It doesn’t have the finesse of a Nolan movie, but still pretty great in itself.

Finally watched Office Space from start to finish.

It was one of those movies where I always saw parts and putting all those parts together I saw the full movie or at least 95% of it. and finally I saw all 100%

Hmmm, we may have similar tastes, even if our demeanors may be different

Ya, that one looks too 'jokey' for me, not my cup of tea.

My Son and I went and saw The Batman today and have to say we both loved it and I have a very ordinary opinion of Robert Pattison.

For any gamers it is very similar in style to Arkham Asylum game, dark and moody.

It was three fucking house long though and I nearly peed my pants!

Haven't seen the new Batman but will once it hits HBO Max. Pattinson is quite a good actor, just have to ignore his Twilight days

He was really good in The Lighthouse alongside Willem Dafoe.

I watched Contagion and found it amazing how it relates to the pandemic. I was amused by Matt Damon's movie daughter when she lamented the 133 day pandemic since we're 730 days and counting as of today.

And it was brought to the U.S. by Gwyneth Paltrow's infidelity. Damn woman. lol

In that movie's world, would've happened anyway.
