Not sure if anyone keeps up to date with this thread, however phone call just received my BMW 2 Series GC has arrived in the UK and is being delivered on 20th March 😁

After a whole year since ordering, I don’t think I will believe it until it gets delivered and I am in the drivers seat of it 😂

Seem to have no luck apparently arrived in UK today but subject to change on when it’s going to arrive, starting to think should have stayed with Merc

I was informed on 3rd March that my BMW had arrived in the UK. It wasn’t able to get be delivered to my home address until the 20th March, was given 6 hour delivery slot on the 20th….was then informed they weren’t able to get it delivered on that day….delayed my holiday be a night and had to wait until the next morning for delivery..

So it’s been a bit of a nightmare, much easier if you are to pick it up at the dealership. The option wasn’t available for me! Got it now though and am absolutely in love with it

How exciting!!!! Yeah it’s a lovely colour. To be honest I haven’t checked yet I will do later when it gets darker but haven’t seen could suggest they did stop doing it which would be a shame if BMW have stopped doing that….

I’m also surprised that the rear window and passengers aren’t tinted, they were standard on M Sport models before so they must have stopped doing that… have looked into getting them tinted as it would look so much sportier and better

Yeah, the rear window tint is a separate option (maybe dependent on the market though). I looks awesome in red, congrats on the car!

Hot car, and great photos. I went with the 2GC mostly because it was love at first sight between me the Melbourne Red. Great wheels, too. Nothing beats classic, simple spokes. (Not a fan of the Y and the more elaborate designs.)
