My BMW F30 320D is an ex salvage CAT D UK (Lower severity) . It has been pulled out and fixed. However the car vibrates when idle . What could be causing this please ?

Could be a million things, why was it written off? Who fixed it? What work was done?

I'd look for any damage/leaks in the air intake system. Also maybe the motor mounts could have been damaged in the accident.

Yeah you were spot on it is out . Reason for vibration was a broken engine mount.
