WTB Carbon Bonnet M3 style bonnet
As title, looking to buy a CF M3 bonnet for my pre LCI E93. I can't find one in Australia regardless of cost. I don't like the Seibon one as the vents are different and look pretty shit house. I would get the Mars Performance one, but they don't have it in stock and it's "Presale"on their website and they haven't replied to my emails for 48 hours now. I also asked Jason from Euro Division, but they no longer carry them.
If anyone knows where I can get one locally, that would be awesome. It has to be unpainted as I want to paint it and leave the power dome exposed. |

Hahah I'm not so cashed up right now for various reasons! Trying to save where I can. Plus being CF, I am worried about the various package handlers just throwing the bonnet around and damaging it during freight. At least locally landed stock is inspected and ready to go. I also don't completely trust the quality of all the chinese manufacturers. I can know at least the Mars Performance and Euro Division offerings have a good reputation. But having said that, both companies have now told me that their original sourcve has ceased manufacturign this product and they both obviously have the same concerns as me with sourcing from another supplier - unknown quality. Looks Like I am gonna be forced to get either the Vorsteiner style bonnet or the Seibon Carbon branded one that has the ugly ass vents.

Can't believe how expensive it is to get one of these bonnet's nowadays.
So glad I got mine when I did a few years ago. It may be the only aftermarket part that will sell for more than it was purchased for. BTW I'm selling a E92 M3 style bonnet in carbon fiber to fit a 335i for $2500 |

Price has been increased to $2995 plus $499 for delivery and pick up anywhere in Australia. Clearly you can tell I'm in sales with this new price point. |

looks like Mars Performance can ship one in for me for $1800but will take 8 weeks and won't post from Melbourne. JC Sportline can ship one to me for $1100 USD all up. Will probably be hit with GST and import duty when it arrives though |

I don't know which would be the better option. I'd probably say Mars but then you'll need to go for a long drive to pick it up. Bloody not so easy to get a bonnet these days. |
