I'm going to get my alignment done at Great Bear. They are charging $65. BMW Manhattan quoted me $180+.

But can Great Bear re-caliber the steering wheel sensor with the alignment. Our cars are not the same as the others. After the recaliberation, the steering wheel should be tighter (as new). Freaking BMW Manhattan quoted me $200.

i didn't ask him about the the steering wheel recaliberation, but he did assure me that he can perform the same service that bmw can do. i'll use my car as a tester to see if this guy can perform the work. i'll let you know after tomorrow. btw, the service advisor at bmw sounded like an idiot.

I can see that happening... they put me on hold for 5-10mins.
Cool...after the alignment, your steering wheel should have a tighter feel just like new when you first drove it.

My car isn't lowered. It's at stock sports suspension. I'm actually thinking about replacing the stock suspension. I'm not happy with them, esp when driving on uneven pavement.

Btw, I went to Great Bear last night. Tommy (owner of the shop) personally worked on my car. I got the front two tires replaced and alignment was performed. He stayed late to get it done. The alignment was only $65.

I told him that couple guys on the forum might come. Check him out if you need to replace the tires or have alignment performed.
