Talking ****Marcato Wheels 1 Piece Forged Group Buy****

Marcato Wheels One Piece Forged Group Buy

Here is the update that you guys have all been waiting for. Marcato Wheels will be starting the first sale for the 1 piece forged line as a group buy due to the overwhelming response from this forum.

Marcato’s 1 piece forged line of wheels will be made of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The material will be forged with an 8000 Ton press and cut with a precision CNC machine located in our facility in Korea. All the wheels will pass a rigorous quality control test before they are boxed and shipped out.

Size: The available sizes will be an 18x8.5 with a 2.5 inch lip and an 18x9.5 with a 3.5 inch lip. The offsets have been set at +43 in the front and + 48 in the rear. This will achieve that aggressive look while still allowing you to lower the car and not have rubbing issues.

Styles: The available styles to choose from are the MFM (Mesh Style), MFS (7 spoke split) and MFF (5 Spoke Split). Below are images of the current designs. The pictures don't reflect actual lip size.

Fitments: The fitments are set up for the 1 series (2008-present) E82 and E88 and also 3 series (2006–present) E90 E92 E93

Finishes: The available finishes are Matte Black, Gloss Black, Titanium and Silver.

(Matte Black)-Flat black paint with a dry ceramic clear coat.
(Gloss Black)- Standard black paint with automotive high gloss clear coat.
(Titanium)- Dark silver with a dry ceramic clear coat.
(Silver)- Standard silver with automotive high gloss clear coat. Give the wheels an OEM style look

Weights: The weights will vary slightly from style. The front 18x8.5 will be 17.5~18.5 pounds and the rear 18x9.5 18.5~19.5 pounds. These wheels are designed for better braking, acceleration and also cornering for the BMW enthusiast. All the Marcato wheels meet the standards of JWL and VIA.

Marcato Wheels has designed these wheels to be compliant with your factory center caps and lug studs. Adapters will be supplied with each wheel so you can use your OEM TPMS units.

Style: MFM

Style: MFS

Style: MFF

Are they going to be HRE and the other style prices? ie: a lung per corner? Or will these actually be resonable.

How about 18x8.5 with the correct offset so we can go non-staggered?

I have been stuck on hyperblack. Can't wait to see the pricing? Also any chance of altering the MFF style to look like the 360 forged wheels

Why don't you order them? Does not make any since to have a company copy a wheel that is already made.

curious on offset as well. Don't care about the size of the lip more than i do fitting as much rubber as possible under stock fenders.
Looks nice though

I was assuming that the wheels being made will be priced lower than 360s. If I can get a cheaper wheel with the same style and the proper offset then it makes sense to me not since.

If you had to sell a lung per corner you would only get 2 wheels hehehe so that won't work. We are waiting on paint prices so we can get you the final price. That will be posted Friday September 19th

I will look into that for you and see what I can do. If we do allow 8.5 all around you will have the same lip size front and back.

MFM looks good. I'll check back for pricing and specs. Since nobody else is stepping up with forged monoblock wheels, this looks like a viable option.

Any plans for wheels without a lip?
