Hi All,

I’m driving an F46 (216i Gran Tourer).

I have been having this issue for months now. After driving and when i off my AC when parked, my RPM will shoot to 1.5 - 2.

Normal RPM at idle should be around or less than 1.

Engine check light will come and go.

Have brought to the workshop to get diagnose the fault. Seems like an air leak that caused the ECU to increase/ decrease the air intake accordingly. Did air leak tests twice and cleaning of all necessary parts, intakes.

Problem still persists. Read on most forums that RPM will go up when AC is on. But my issue is RPM goes up when AC is OFF.
