Considering it's the exact same car (not chassis but exact same car) I would be worried if they couldn't tune it out for the 370Z it's not likely to be eliminated in this model.

Most likely pre-texture fitment sample, i wouldn't put too much worry on that
The oil temperature issue is a concern as the engine bay is identical and the TTV6 will run a lot hotter than the 3.7QV so I imagine they are going to have to find creative ways to stuff external coolers in this thing.

As a former 350z and 370z owner this new Z definately has my attention. If they can give us a base price of $35K and have 400hp I'll be getting one.

If you guys are curious how the VR30 motor performs in the 370z Chassis here's a youtuber who did the swap and shows dyno numbers.

REALLY wish they had kept the classic Fairlady Z badge from the prototype on top of the decklid.

I like the look of this car from the side but I'm having a hard time with the front end. It looks like an emoji with an open mouth and it's hard for me to unsee it.

It's Domo-Kun. It's all I see when I look at it but really most new vehicles all sport cartoonish grilles so not a deal breaker unless you absolutely hate Domo.

Pretty much. I hope after they are released somebody does that for shits and giggles. Would be perfect on a red car.

So only about $5k more than the current? Not bad at all.

Is this really based on the same platform as the 370Z? If so, it might suck no matter what engine, transmission, and body it has. That wasn't the best the day it came out...

Yup, heard they massaged the chassis a little and maybe added some more use of aluminum. Definitely don't think the car is going to be received well if they didnt mess with the chassis/susp/geometry..

Hopefully they can pull something off, because that platform has its origins in the 350Z and G35 Coupe. It's gonna be 20 years old next year! It's almost like BMW putting a brand new engine into an E46 based design.

That's actually a dream come true . S55 engine with the E46 M3's chassis, suspension, and hydraulic steering all redesigned for 2021.
