California finally sent the plates I ordered for my 2020 X3M, had to transfer to the 2021.
Super easy It was the same car and the same color.

Are people still doing the CHP 11-99 plate thing to try and get out of tickets when the get pulled over?

I have had a membership 20 years and it does not guarantee anything. However, 15 years ago I did get pulled over in my 2006 M6 at 2 a.m. going 110 and the CHP officer let me go. I don't expect any preferential treatment but it was my lucky day I guess.

I ordered them in February and received them this past weekend. You probably have a few more months.
