Does anyone park their car on city streets?

I live in DC and have to keep my car on the street.
Does anyone else on the forums do the same?
I try to park behind/in-front of my neighbors that know me.

I love those "bumper badgers" I seee all over NYC where I pack on hte street on many ocassions... thinking of getting one or two ~Frost

Fortunately I don't need to park my cars on the street. But if I did, it's not near worth what some of the other cars I see parked along my street - Range Rover's, 911's, F430's (black all the time & silver one sometimes), and quite a few MB's and BMWs.

Every once in a while I will have to park in the street but I try to avoid it no matter what it costs.

park on the street everynight in Philadelphia...have a unique parking situation (up a curb on an empty sidewalk next to a wall), but i'd say 20% of the time I have to actually park on the street there is some mark left on front or rear bumper.

I got parktronic figuring what the hell, why not, but when the SA asked me if I wanted I responded facetiously, "I know how to park...is it going to help OTHER people parallel park behind me?"

yup, plus one on that... got a couple of bentley's, cayenne, carrera's, 911's, couple of range rovers, and a M6... my car doesn't exactly stand out on my street... but, i do park in a garage...

try to park in a garage if you can but if you cant, i guess there isnt much you can go unless you want to move just because of your car... i had to park my car on the street at one point in time and thats when i got my window smashed by some punk

If I had to park on the street in Washington D.C., I'd set up camp right next to my car and stay awake holding a shotgun!

There are no parking garages in my neighborhood.
I'm trying to find off-street parking, but not much around.
I live in a rowhouse. Sometimes I can get a space about 10ft from my front door if I'm extremely lucky. Fun times when I double park to wash it!
