Well, if you think you pay too much... It's still cheap compared to Norway. The E9x started at over NOK 1.5m, which is over $250k :-) Not sure about the F8x

Right, some countries have additional taxes, such as Norway. In these countries you have to pay a fortune for such a car. However, Switzerland doesn't have such taxes, on the contrary, they have comparatively low VAT taxes, but the prices are still pretty high. This means that BMW generates very high profit margins here.
