Help - what is the color of your indicator on the battery?

My battery was dead this AM and I needed a boost. The tow truck driver commented on the indicator being black and after a day of driving and running a charger on it - the green is not apparent.

Having not paid too much attention in the past - is this normal? What are your cars showing?

Thanks for checking,

Mines green - Cars 8 Mnths old.
I think Yellow indicates a blown unit. Hope yours shapes up with a 24hr slow charge.
