I just picked up a m235iGC in BSM with shadowline. Love it so far. So many salty bmw fan "bois" in here.
Also your "real bmw's" got gapped by a fwd Honda Civic type R at the burg. So explain how bad fwd or fwd based really is? |

My only complaint are the tires on 19" wheels. I would rather have Perilli P zeros on 18". I like a stiffer sidewall for more precise cornering. I didn't have a choice. My lease was up and I didn't have time to special order one. I think that if they put the pirellis on there would have been too many complaint about too stiff a ride.

This is what my car came with

I know this because I ran over something in the road not 1/2 a mile from the dealer when I was coming in to pick up some mats. Global in Atlanta got me in right away and charged me 400 for the tire instead of tire racks 468. I think Global and I are going to have a long pleasant relationship. I only have 300 miles on there car because of sheltering in place so I didn't feel like I needed to buy a pair. That was a little bit of sticker shock. In the 1998 I had FIKSE FM10 modular forged heels that cost each about what I paid total to get the tire mounted. BTW those wheels now cost 1500. I'm glad my son insisted on keeping them when I sold the M3 in 2002. We still have them. I Don't find the ride harsh. It feels a lot softer than my 1M coupe and my M3s. Did you get your car from Towne BMW in Williamsville. I was a customer of theirs for 26 years before I moved from Snyder to the Atlanta area. Say hi to Adam and the gang in service for me. My name is Holly. They took very good care of me.

I know, if I keep the car after the lease is up I'll get Zeros or more reasonable Michelins. I'm no longer tracking or autoxing so I don't need such a high performance tire. When I was actively competing I had dedicated track;/competition tires. That is a more cost effective option for you folk who aren't "retired"
One can't legally take advantage of such a high performance tire. My days of risking my license are over. At my age I no longer have the "cute blond" factor that used to get me out of tickets. Maybe the old lady factor would workThere are advantages of being a woman in a fast car. The amusement factor got me out of a lot of tickets thru the years starting with the Baby blue MGA I had when I was 16. I promised my dad I would be good--he knew better. I remember in my e46 M3 a state trouper said , "You obviously know how to drive but this is completely unacceptable". I agreed and said "i'm sorry" and was told to "go home and don't drive anymore today little lady".My 228 M package has just enough fun factor to keep me entertained but isn't so anti social to get me in trouble.
