Bought a couple weeks ago with 28k miles on it, still makes me grin every morning. Despite being my most powerful car yet, I too find myself driving in a more relaxed way most of the time. Nothing to prove any more I guess. I used to drive the S2000 everywhere like I stole it. lol

It's amazing to me how easy it is to drive the e90 fast. The car is so balanced, and it really makes you feel like you are a much better driver than you really are. I've driven some other cars, and at 80-90 mph, I was scared $hitless. The car was all over the place. Not the case with our BMWs. It feels the same, regardless of whether you are going 20 mph or 100mph.

+1 OP. Weather's been kind of shitty here at the northeast, well, actually more salt than snow. We finally got a break this week and roads have been decent. After driving the winter beater for two weeks I gotta say. I love the bimmer

Is this the standard waiting time for repairs? :

I love my bmw too.....repairs not so much(DIY eases some of the financials)....but meh need to take the bad with the good right?!
SES light that wouldn't go away, dropped oil pan and found metal bits -> new engine. Took a while for it to get approved due to the holidays and such. Dealership service is slow, but 2 months is not the norm lol.

I say all the time when people ask (and even if they don't) that I LOVE this car! It's crazy how much l love the car.

I have a Wrangler Rubicon, a `64 GTO with 500+ hp and a 4spd, each VERY capable and special in their own right, but I enjoy my time behind the wheel of the Bimmer the most (shhh, don't tell the Pontiac forum folks!)

The funny thing is that I've been lusting after BMW's for 25+ years. I'm an avid Car & Driver reader, so I follow their biases. I love a good handling car so I always felt I'd love the Bimmer. But for 25+ years life's other priorities and needs prevented the BMW purchase.

This summer the perfect CPO showed up and I snatched it up. I hope to have it for a VERY long time! And/or get another after this one (if they fix that crappy electric steering!). Now my 15yo son has his eyes on my car. Maybe I'll step up to a 335 next. Who knows.

All I know now is that I LOVE my car!!!
