X5M Piano black retrofit possible?

Just recently picked up 2017 X5M Long Beach Blue. I can not stand chrome/silver interior. On my previous 2015 X5 MSport I had the piano black interior for the iDrive and the console buttons. Does anyone know if its possible to purchase these parts for an X5 and retrofit to an X5M?

It is possible, but have to come from Europe.
The last time I checked, BMWNA hasn't released it yet.

So I have to Order the parts from Europe? Would you know where/how I can order?

So this means that the parts from an F15 X5 wouldn't fit F85 X5M?

I can order them if you don't have any source.

Most F15 parts are interchangeable to F85. Same as F16 to F86.

If you are looking for a total trim swap, I just went through this (ordering a complete interior trim kit). As Ben indicated, Piano is orderable domestically (US market) as are all the US spec trims (Fineline, Carbon Fiber, Aluminum, etc.). The Sen (e.g. Japanese Maple - what I wanted) was not available anywhere except Europe (or possibly Canada) as its only fitted for production in those markets. The trim parts are 100% interchangeable between F15/16/85 vehicles. I ordered from the U.K. so I had to specify right hand drive as opposed to left hand drive- that is the only difference. Oddly, I did notice that the door card parts in CF are smaller in length than Sen for whatever reason - but there is sufficient room to install. The dashboard parts simply pull out and the doors require removing the panels. I have only had time to remove the small section on the left of the steering wheel so far. It appears to be a DIY job just requires patience. There is a forum topic here somewhere with details on the door card removal. Ben has DIY instructions on the long dash panel removal (it also pulls out but the vents and started button have to be un-clipped and re-clipped to the new trim). My Sen kit was $1500 excluding the center console parts as I have an M with full leather so the sides are not matched to the trim but are matched in leather. Ben also has a DIY on the center console parts removal. Also the front and rear door trim parts are identical - so you need 2 each obviously. Hope that helps ...

one of the things that pissed me off the most when i went to order my F85 coming from the F10 that had the ceramic controls was the inability to order them on this vehicle!

Now that i have the F85 without them, i don't really miss them all that much

definitely not worth $3k ... damn IHKA is so expensive! the i drive controller can be had for a decent price on ebay
