How "real time" is you real time traffic?

OK, to start, RTT sucks. I have two issues and I was wondering if this is a local issue?

1) Getting traffic messages and the traffic flow on the map takes anywhere between 3-10 min after I start driving. Initially, the map is "normal" and the traffic flow is added after a certain time. It has gotten worse in the past 1-2 weeks.

2) Although the traffic flow (green, yellow, red) is pretty accurate once it shows, the traffic messages are 100% wrong so far. I have driven by 4 locations on freeways in the past month alone where the RTT insisted there was an accident and there was absolutely nothing. Same with objects in the roadway or broken down cars etc. Not a single incident was shown correct.

You are not alone. Exactly the same symptoms I am experiencing.

It sucks if you compare it to something like Google Maps which is very accurate, but it's not completely useless either. I currently tolerate because of the iDrive integration and HUD instructions, instead of using my phone.
