Here's a tip that can help reduce water spots.
I like to put a filter like these inline on the water hose going into my pressure washer https://www.amazon.com/Lifefilter-Fl...%2C140&sr=8-39
There's better options like this available but this link will give you the idea.

Those types of filters will work, but if your water is bad (over 300 TDS) you're going to burn through them really fast. Certainly everything helps, but the best course of action is to simply get the car as dry as possible, as fast as possible. Ceramic coating makes a big difference in aiding in this.

I have PPF with ceramic coating. The only place I noticed water spotting was on the glass
