M3 or 335i E91 Touring/sportwagon
Based on the comments regarding the M5 wagon being brought to the NA market, I have high hopes that a similar approach will be taken with the E91.
http://www.autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=103566 The decision to forge ahead with the new model is driven by increased demand for performance wagons in the United States. “We’ve been monitoring the development of wagon sales in the USA carefully,” says our BMW source, “and after a long period of stagnation they are rebounding quite heavily, and there is a feeling an M5 Sports Wagon could do well.” |

There was an E34 M5 wagon offered in the US.
Wagons sell big in Euro, where choice seems based more tightly on function. Euro is not hindered by our (USA) out-dated traditions of viewing wagons as dogs. My opinion: E91 335i, M3 or 335d would absolutely rock. |
