I wanted the long British style number plate but my 330i came with a U.S. sized, two line front plate and a long British rear plate. Fortunately, the rear plate used the same holes as were used to mount the U.S. plate frame. However, the plate frame on the front is drilled. I'd like to get a frame for the British style plate but they are scarce as dragon scales.

I don't mind the plate so much on the E46, but it looks really ugly on the E90.
I have taken the front plate off all my vehicles and am ordering my 330i From a dealer in OK so there won't be a possiblity of front lic. holes drilled!

I had a plate on there. I didnt think of it until I was on my way to pick up the car after he has called me and told me it was in...

But I wont put it on. It makes the sexy E90 look like a Ford Bronco.

Im in VA for most of the year, and registered in MD, so they dont bother me.

My neightboor bought a euro spec plate with his VA numbers on it and has gotten 2 tickets for it around campus.

I was in NC in November 2004, stayed with friends in Charlotte, took a weekend trip down to Durham, Tobacco Road, Raleigh...fun times.

What did you think of NS? You have to come here with your E90 and take it around the Cabot Trail - no other drive like it! Just make sure you don't come in the middle of summer or you'll get stuck behind slow sight-seeing tourists. Drive it once to see the sights, and a second time at a faster pace and enjoy the ride!

Yes, it is the L-A-W here... otherwises they can't get your pic when you are speeding past the speed cameras on your evil mission to send some poor fury creature to oblivion, and totally destroy the fabric of society by driving 1km/h over the speed limit

Wish we could have the front clean though, would look so much better.

Hi, well I am not near the places you were in. I am in the mountains of the state, Blue Ridge area, lots of mountains and curves. If you want to know what it looks like, it looks just like the cabot trail area, except the mountains are bigger here. Yes I did love NS, I want to go back!! I did not take my e90, I was in someone elses car and we did go to the Cabot Trail. IT was GREAT!!

Not to mention the better aerodynamics. With 250,000 E90s driving around and 90%+ with front plates breaking up the airflow, how much fuel is being wasted because of front license plates? TIC.

I absolutely HATE front plates

I'd love to fabricate a hidden plate under the bumper, that you can POP out if you get pulled over.
Have a pneumatic strut which is activated with a solonoid to slide it out on a track

I think its cleaner to just leave the hole than try to plug them. Less visible...

No problem in Alberta. They don't have license plates in front (rear only).

Running with no plates in front. Dealer asked if I wanted the front plates installed, and had me sign a waiver when I declined.
