A lot of the X5 guys have wrapped it or painted because there's no factory black grill. I'd think you're much better off in the long run with factory part through IND.

I am wondering if it could be painted without taking the bumper off? |

Couple more close up. I did the wrapping of chrome reverse lenses tint and badges myself.

91% isopropyl Alcohol. Soak a Terry towel and let it sit on the sticker for like 5 minutes. Then I used my finger nails to pick/peel it off. Its a little tedious but took like 30-45. I did it on my Msport 535xi a few years back. I always thought they were very offensive and they stick out like a soar thumb on black headliners

Great thread. Already placed my order for the black grille, black badging, and front reflector deletes. The install on those front reflectors looks a little more hairy than I want to mess with; may have to find some time to bring this to a dealer...

One other mod question -- I am interested in doing those blue brake calipers that I've seen on some recent BMW models. Are those just M brake caliper covers that can be bought and easily installed? How difficult a mod would be this be?
Just think it looks so slick... Thanks. |

If you don't have DHP, it should be really easy (but probably not cheap) to buy the OEM sport brakes and install, as long as your wheels can fit them, which those rims you have should work. |
