Missing Tool?
I was checking out my car this weekend and noticed that my in-trunk toolkit had an empty spot. Am I missing something?
Thanks, Collin |

I believe all e90's have a toolkit standard. The extra slot is for the wheel lock which is not standard.

That's definatelythe space for the locking wheel nut key - we get that as standard in the UK with our alloy wheels. The bendy shape above that is for the allen key thing to manually close the sunroof should the electrics fail.
Whoops - just looked at your picture again, and you already have the bent allen key. |

Thanks for the responses guys; it looks like we're not missing anything here. Perhaps this should be on the pickup checklist for things you don't get. - Collin |

It's a towing eye. It screws into a captive nut which is revealed when you remove the little square panel on the back bumper.
Usually you can also put it somewhere at the front, so you can be towed - but I haven't seen anywhere to put it on the front! Ideas anyone?? |

No, you can order one, at an extra cost.
