UK M2CS at JZM
Hi All,
Does anyone know anything about the CS for sale at JZM (UK). It’s a black, manual, ceramics, 5 owners. I miss my CS (returned it the dealer due to water ingress from the roof) and fancy another one, but would prefer to buy a car I know some history on. Thanks Tony |

First two likely explained by a quick flip…someone who snagged for MSRP or something close and then sold at premium. Next 3…TBD but wow that’s a lot in a short period…but all under warranty period, so you’d think if there were any issues it would show up on BMW service history, so I’d definitely pull that and investigate.
Sounds odd, so you’re doing the right thing investigating…but the truck I currently own is a good example of a clean history but high owner count. Bought it off the original owner, sold it 2 years later to my brother, he sold it back to me a year after that…I say pull the service history, and if it’s clean, I wouldn’t be too concerned. That said, if you can be patient and you’re not picky on spec, just know that down the road, a future buyer is going to be asking the same questions! |

My concern would be much more about future resale value. Unless you're truly planning on thoroughly enjoying it for 150k+ kilometers, you're likely going to have a difficult time selling a 6 owner sports car for anywhere near what a 1-2 owner car would be worth.
With 5 total owners so far, the current list price would have to be decently discounted to reflect that. But given the current market, I doubt it is.
