My SSK goes in next week! Hey Andrew, does the SSK come with knob and boot too or do I still have to give you my performance parts knob? If not then I have something to post on the for sale section...

Andrew, will the standard M gear knob fit on the SSK stick? I prefer the stand M Knob to the performance one.

The Performance one is weighted, which will really help the shifts given that the leverage is now less due to shorter shaft. I would definitely put the Performance one.

Very Nice. Some alloy pedals would finish it nicely! _ Hey I'm only spending your money for you!
Let us know how the rotors go.

thanks for the mods today andrew. we are trailblazing here mate! by the way, so far my opinion is unchanged; the standard knob is better than the "performance" one - the weighted aspect of the upgrade does not show through sufficiently perhaps because the distance to the fulcrum is not sufficient.

Wow looks great professor. So did you notice a bid difference with the SSK? I think I would like to get this.
Good to see you guys catching up with the US on mods reasonably quickly!

hhaha... well...I have a bone to pick with you. I was on a drive up to the old pacific highway today and pulled into the petrol station. Wen to flip the filler cap as you said and it didn't work! I had to ring Aston Martin Sydney and ask the guy haha. Maybe this is an older model than yours?
There was a tiny red button under the dash. Got there in the end though. Bloody awesome car. I'll be sorry to hand it back! Going to post some pics later.

haha...appreciate the concern. I figured you were just confusing it with one of the others in your stable. I don't want to hijack professors thread though...I'll start a fresh one when i work out how to get my pics up.
