X5MC Exhaust on a M50i

Hey guys, I recently had the priviledge of getting the axle back portion of a F95 x5mc exhaust from sarugby4life

Currently my set up is 200cell FI Exhaust DP, Magnaflow x-pipe straight to exhaust.

Hey, since there isn’t many after market exhausts for m50 but there are few more for x5m I was wondering if I could buy the same part you have swapped in your m50, did it fit nicely? Or it had to be somehow modified to fit it in your car?

It did have to be modified slightly so it aligned properly with the cutouts in the bumper. If you look at the pipes theres a few cuts and welds there which is where they had to adjust it if that makes sense

What would happen if the x5m exhaust (back box) was fit on a 40i? Any ideas?

Sounds great! Any CEL after the DP install? Assuming the Magnaflow x-pipe straight to exhaust wouldn't cause any issue.

yup, i had the cel and ended up going bootmod3 with a stage 2 tune
