From the reviews I've already seen, the new Golf is over-filled with highly annoying touch controls (which everyone hates), and scattered cheap bits. On that basis alone, the 2 GC wins.

And it is made by VWAG. After the disastrous Audi A6 we had, dumped at a loss to be rid of, and how we were treated meanwhile....never again with that corporation!

Also see Toyota making waves about a return to physical controls Vs touch screen on safety basis.
