Quick question i have paddle shift on the 335D but i hate how it is set up, is it possible to re wire the paddles so that one paddle changes up and one changes down?

As far as i can tell the + and - wires on each side have to be spliced together into the + terminal on the right and - terminal on the left? Thanks Andy |

Freak - it is set up perfectly
Personally any sort of paddles or sequential gear lever needs to be push to change down (when your weight will be moving forwards anyway in hard driving) and pull to change up (vice versa). Can't bear it any other way... I suppose I am coming at it from a track driving perspective, but it stuck. One race car did have a sequential box and I loved it (set up this way) - some people had them the other way. Weirdos. We should have a poll - am interested to see how many other freaks there are, I have always wondered why the hell people would want it any other way |

as i said have converted mine, not only do the lci padles work more positively but having used the pull/pull i now prefer them, talking of being illogical has anyone seen the boxster paddles?

that'll be why so many people have done it then..............
with the standard setting - i was forever pressing it the wrong way then i went on the M3 experience at Oulton - in the DCT M3's one for +, and one for - never made a wrong shift in the M3 so day after, i changed my 335d's over and was happily ever after!!! to the OP - if you search on here(including US threads) theres a thread that tells you exactly what to do.............. its a year since i did it and i've forgotten exactly what to do Max
