Sport mode vs sport gear box

Hi everyone,

I wonder if placing the gear selector of my 220iA in sport also activate all what the sport mode button does ?

Any clue ?

I tried this in my M135i and it seems to only put the gearbox into the mode where it holds on to the gears - the rest remains unchanged.
