I am upset that BMW made blacklines and not whiteline taillights. I purchased the blacklines and took them off the next day after feeling they look like on alpine white.

I actually think they look better on AW than on almost any other color.

The average person probably can't tell the difference between the "whiter" white of the regular lights and the "darker" white of the blacklines without comparing them both right next to each other.

That said, I think the cheap-looking red turn signal area on the stock lights looks more rice than blacklines could look on any color.

Actually, no. Turns out what I thought I was getting for $489 installed was $1489 installed. You have no idea how fast I said "I'll pass" when the guy cleared that up to me. I mean $1,500 to coat a floor with some chemical and sprinkle chips down on it!? Give me a break.

Thats what I thought initially. But the residue is very brittle and it is stuck on there nicely. Haven't found a way yet to cleanly get it off completely without scratching the lens.

Ok, it got to me. I wanted to see black and white line side by side so I created a quick side by side photo using other members' photos.

Whiteline not bad (on white cars).
