H&R sport springs on stock suspension

i have a 2008 335xi coupe with no modifications o ther than 19 inch avant garde's i was thinking of lowering my car but i dont have enough money for coilovers or a new suspension. i dont mind a harsher ride, i just want the car to be lowered. can i get the sport springs without changing any other suspensions parts, or will this cause the other parts to wear prematurely and cause the car to bounce? thanks

I'm looking at the same setup! Avant gardes and a drop. There are alot of people in these threads that have springs and stock struts and have no issues, running 19's.

You can run it just fine. The car will ride firmer and be more responsive but is not too harsh for daily use.

I have the H&R Sports with the stock Sport shocks.

The ride is fine most of the time... until you hit a big pothole or speed bump. Then, it rattles your fillings. My gf's 13-yr-old actually shreiks.

Not sure how much would change if I installed the Koni Yellows, but eventually I'll prolly do that.

It might also help to change out the bumpstops.
