G'day (kind of felt that was mandatory).

Has anyone been able to get the eSim to work in Australia? Mine is showing 3/4 completed and displays a QR code but then it goes no further.

2024X5 LCI model.

Hi TSM, my 2018 had an esim that worked. Are the X5 LCI esim different?

I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing. There is an eSim for the BMW apps and services such as remote unlocking etc, but there is now a specific eSim app which works as a hotspot and is seperate to the built in one.

Batmeow, did you order a 50e too? Mine has just left South America on leg to our shores it seems..

Guys, with the tracking website, how long did it take for your order to show up? I've had the VIN for 2 weeks, car was built 4/4/24 but nothing shows up on the BMW AU tracking link.

Tracking link never worked for me either. I just got the status update from my sales rep and eventually got the vessel name that I was able to track.

So, when the vehicle is at 'on ship' status, there is a link to press that shows your car on the ship.

Did anyone notice Bowers & Wilkins and 2-axle air suspension are no longer available in the BMW Configurator, at least for 40i. Looked at every option a couple of times but still can’t find it. Is that a change for MY25?
