Need Part numbers for rear brake pads + DIY
325i e90 06' n52
Hey, so my rear brake pads are long overdue and I have no clue what the OEM part number is. Also if there is a DIY for changing pads can someone please direct me to it. Thanks all! |

I'd check realoem.com Might find some other stuff on there you need too... Youtube probably has tons of DIY, might not be your exact model, but changing pads out is pretty similar on most cars...

There are lots of vendors selling pads - getbmwparts should have them too. Have you checked the DIY section? |

Very easy to do, it took me <1 hour to do both rear brakes. You don't have to take off the whole brake assembly like in the DIY... Just take the caps off the black boots and there's I believe a 7 or 8mm hex bolt that you can unscrew to remove the caliper. That'll allow you to remove only the caliper and slide the brake pads off the retainers. Oh and compress the caliper piston while it's still mounted to make things easier and block your front tires since parking brake is in the rear.
