Roof mods, how much could this cost the resale value?

I really loved the look of white and how the roof is black. Loved it when I first saw it on the Mecedes C class coupe. Now the M3 E92 makes me want it even more. I definitely want that affect on my coupe but fear it could drive buyers away. My car is already MT so that is already an ouch in resale.

Do the BLUEBAT overlay! That way you can remove it when you sell it.

Haha same here man. I've always loved blacked-out roofs on cars. It makes them look so much sleeker.

unless its reversable it will definitely affect the re-sale or at least the potential number of buyers for the car who appreciate the mod

Generally, you cannot recoup the cost of modding unless the (private) buyer specifically like your car.

Well my mods are not extreme just add ons. Typical spoiler and front lip.

I added Bluebats amber outs last week. They seem to be made of a nice "thick" vinal. No idea how they will hold up in weather/winter etc. since I JUST put them on but...they seem to be good quality and--if you can remove it, sounds like the way to go. As a girl, I may admire the black roof but may not want it myself if I was buying your car. Pic of Bluebats amber outs on my lights.....FYI. Just so you can see quality etc.

Get the Bluebat roof overlay. I have had in on my car for a few months already and I love it. Makes the car look really slick and the best part is that its fully reversible without a problem. You wont regret going with that option.

just do a matte black vinyl overlay. gloss will become swirled, and i dont think they can be polished out of vinyl.

I finally got a response a few days ago from Andrew of Bluebat and he gave me a good price. I just hope I get it. I know I will have my friends at the body shop help me install it.

^ that looks sick! I was thinking of doing a vinyl for my car, since we don't have a sunroof, it would look SICK!

EDIT: actually dunno how black roof w/ SG would look...
